Longview is a family owned and operated single vineyard based in the southern part of the cool Adelaide Hills Wine Region in South Australia - Macclesfield to be exact.Since the foundation of Longview in 1995 and subsequent first vintage in 2001 we have quickly become one of the most awarded estates in the region. Passionate about producing pristine, premium cool climate fruit, our wines display a finesse, balance and wonderful natural acid structure.All of our products are strictly estate grown and our vineyard is around 170 acres (70ha).Our varieties include: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Semillon, Pinot Grigio and we have the oldest plantings of Nebbiolo in South Australia. We are also one of the first vineyards in Australia to have multiple Austrian clones of Gruner Veltliner with our first release being 2014.The majority of our capital is focused wholeheartedly on this stunning single vineyard and we are proud of the efforts undertaken by our small, yet specialised viticulture team to turn it into one of the most awarded in the region, hence maintaining relationships as premium fruit growers.
