A beautiful family owned vineyard in the South of the RhôneValley, La Bastide Saint Dominique has been producing full-bodied and elegantly balanced wines for more than 35 years. Founded in the late 70s by Gérard and Marie-Claude Bonnet, their Côtes du Rhône, Châteauneuf du Pape and Cairanne Appellations are now produced using organic methods by their son Eric Bonnet. The vineyard is located in Courthézon, in the heart of the AOP Châteauneuf du Pape, on what used to me a former Dominican Chapel from the 17th century. Rich soils, a diversified range of grape varietals with a major in Grenache and Syrah are some of the highlights of La Bastide Saint Dominique. Wines are aged in stainless steel tanks; vinification is made separately for each varietal in order to let each of them reveal its authenticity and terroir specificities. Thorough cultivating methods alongside hand picking of the grapes and respect of natural strengths result in beautiful blends, amazing aromas and flavors throughout the vintages.
