The Pala estate was founded in Sardinia, Italy, in 1950 by Salvatore Pala and is now run by his son Mario and his family. Mario Pala represent the third generation of the family taking care of the vines planted with the most traditional varieties of the island. 240 acres of bush vines all organically grown.At Pala all the family is involved in the winery and the vineyards with only one focus, to produce the best expression of the terroir of the island respecting the character of the grapes. Pala was named the Emerging Winery of the Year 2014 by the Gambero Rosso (the major and most famous Italian Wine Guide) and is the most awarded Sardinian wine producer.
